Summer & Swimsuits

Summer is my favorite season – even in the NC heat – but mainly because I’m always in a swimsuit. Here are some times I decided to put clothes on…

My dear, sweet friend’s bridal shower called for a nice dress and some heels, and the picture on the right is from her gorgeous wedding!

Notice that huge smile on my face? The picture on the left was taken right after I closed on my house! And I attended a local beer festival for my birthday, which meant “comfortable” heels and a colorful romper!

This is of me in a swimsuit because one of them says MERMAID, and I truly spent so much time at the beach this summer!

Originally from Target, I got this versatile dress from a thrift store for $4! It’s so perfect to go out in, but throwing a chambray over it dresses it down just the right amount!

My mom and I, before spending a week at the beach for a lovely mother/daughter beach trip, went to Kinston, NC to eat at Chef and the Farmer – one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

I’m lucky to have so many dear friends I’ve met throughout my life and that they enjoy partaking in the same shenanigans and tomfoolery I do! Here are a couple of outfits from some events this summer.

A couple work outfits for good measure. So thankful I work in a casual marketing firm!

Summer? Jessica, that’s a sweater. I know. But I promise this was just an exceptionally cold night in early summer when some friends and I ventured to the theater to see Chicago, and I wanted to include it because it was a godsend, as far as transitional wardrobe pieces are concerned.
