Well, it’s been an embarrassingly long time since I posted, but I’m determined to start posting at least once a week. Summer is a tough season for me because, as much as I LOVE it, I completely fall out of my routines. From workout classes to eating schedules, all the travel and unexpected plans (mostly fun stuff) do not help me keep any sort of routine.
Since getting back from Omaha (I went home to Omaha for a little over a week in early September for my best friend’s wedding), I’ve been busy with work and music and really just trying to get back into the swing of things.
My trip home was much needed. Seeing my family and old friends was wonderful, as always. And my best friend’s wedding…It was fun. It was beautiful. I struggle to describe in words how amazing it was, so I’ve included some pictures to show y’all!
As I said, since my return, I’ve just been trying to get back into some sort of routine. From my eating habits to my workout routines, and everything in between (like keeping my apartment clean), I allowed myself a lot of exceptions in the past few months. The last couple of weeks have been focused on starting fresh and staying focused on getting back into it.
